CompassHolidays Review

As the saying goes "it is better late than never at all" . This feedback I am writing is something that I could not let to just slip away. On few occasions,  I booked with Compass Holidays thru Laila. Her work ethics were just so incredibly phenomenal. She is a people person who would always provide a legendary service and very willingly goes out of her way to deliver the highest quality standards of customer service. I consider Laila to be a big differentiator who is impacting the business. I wish Laila all the best and " keep up the great work".

Acabre(Essence 10-Day China Tour)

We had a great trip. My recommendations as a travel agent would be to not send clients at the Golden Flowers hotel. Outdated and rooms smell too much like cigarette. I would also recommand less time shopping and more time at the China wall for an exemple. Splitting a group after almost a week together isn't the greatest idea either. Friendships are created during group travels. The schedule was very busy and not a lot of time for ourselves. I didn't really care to sit on a bus while guests would attend the optional tours. I went to 3 out of 4 but had booked only for 2 before departing. The 3rd was booked for the cruise because I didn't want to wait around the bus again. Thank you for the opportunity to see so much in China! :)

Thanks Compass Holidays for helping re. our trip to China. All in all, we had a good trip. It took us a week to recover. In arranging the group trip from Ottawa, I contacted you many many times with all kinds of enquirers and needs. I have found you always extraordinarily courteous, always willing to help out patiently. I appreciated your knowledge and professionalism and cheerfulness with which you helped all the members of the group. I speak for all of them. I wish I could write directly to your Manager or President of the company to say that the company is lucky to have you as an agent. Please pass this email on to him/her. I had a fabulous experience on my trip. We had a great group. Excellent loving and caring tour director and bus driver. Made lots of friends. Will be interesting in future tours with the same tour director DJ. I love the face pace tour with lots of places to discover and the many options. Thank you again.

In answer to your survey we know it was not your fault but the airline had to many delays and we waited in airports far to long. We did not land in Beijing because of weather...... for the trip over.accommodations were tops but meals left a lot to be desired.Our tour guide was the best and he made the trip but we were told that the guide on the other bus was not so great. sight seeing was good. In general terms we thought for the price we had a good trip and would recommend it to others.
